I would def choose the higher compression on E85. If any of you have heard of k20/24's in the Honda world, they come stock with 11:1 compression ratios. These motors stock are tough and love boost. Lots are making mid 400s on pump 93 and mid 500's on E85. If your tuner is good then there should be no problems.

In the same year, the Lancer Evo IV was introduced. This was a totally new car. It received many improvements, with the biggest one being the available active rear differential. Differences between evos and lancer are the the widebody, front bumper is different, has the hood exit, and fender vents. It most certainly is a evo but looks to be modified, at least in its appearance so it would be good to know what they’ve done to it before you buy it👍
The engine specs for Evo V and VI are identical - 280 hp at 6,500 rpm and 275 lb-ft (373 Nm) at 2,750 rpm. The last third generation was introduced for the Lancer Evolution VII in 2001. It produced 272 hp at 6,500 rpm and 253 lb-ft (343 Nm) at 2,750 rpm. This version had new camshafts, a new intake manifold with better airflow, the TD05HR-16G6
Just remember no aftermarket product will fit 100%50% of the time you will need to either make it fit or modify it to fit and the other 50% it won't fit at all. Trust me I have had experience with both. Evo_Girl. Lancer ES/EX. Posts: 169. Joined: Wed Jan 11, 2012 6:59 am. . 307 18 75 62 372 266 169 2 195
